Will pricing change in the future?

As we develop our software and business, it is likely that our pricing structure may change. However, founding hosts are locked in at their 0% fees. This is a thank you from the founders for trusting us as we start our platform and work out the kinks. Traveler fees may change, even for founding hosts. It is a priority for us to always keep fees reasonable for travelers and hosts if our pricing structure changes in the future. We know how it feels to pay fees that continuously creep up to booking platforms and we don't want to repeat that cycle.

How is your platform supported if hosts pay $0?

Do hosts really pay $0?

Yes, founding hosts pay $0. For founding hosts to use our platform and book travelers it is completely free, forever. The founders of My Good Rental built this platform to solve a real family problem as hosts, and because of this, we have a host-first mission. 

Like any business, we need to earn revenue. We charge travelers a flat 10% on every booking. This covers processing fees and our platform fee.
